lyrics

"Blood Money”

Rally yourselves revolutionary poets. Use your words to chant down the rubber bullets. With empty notebooks in our hands. With our words we make our stand. As you meet people whose eyes burn like signal fires. Men shoot eachother and run through razor wire. Can my words feed the mouths of all the starving children or aid the waste to all the blood that spilling?

‘Cuz when the blood and the money go down the same drain, you'll be reluctant to hear the refrain. The conclusion to prosper the golden ages bitter end. The worst part of history is when it repeats itself again.

Why is it the facts are never audible? When others fall and cracks you're up on a pedestal. The strife of the city the struggle for power. Because life ain't so pretty outside your Ivory Tower. Why do you prepetuate all of this hate that you know? You had a hand in, and you might have started to look at my interior. Am I inferior? This is for the blood of the departed.

Cuz when the blood and the money go down the same drain you'll be reluctant to hear the refrain. The conclusion to prosper the golden ages bitter end. The worst part of history, is when it repeats itself again.
