It was about 7 years ago and river worth of tears ago, around a fire on the banks of the mighty genesee. A girl I didn't know who came from Buffalo said, come and move to the city with me.

She rose above me like oil to water. I was wrapped around her finger. I couldn’t get her out of my head. We had a good run. We had a whole lot of fun, but she threw for the ringer, and broke my heart instead. To her mother’s surprise it was her who brought tears to my eyes. While she remained unscathed.
